I have some new announcements!

I will start studying seriously from now on. To prove it, I have finished reading the new economics lecture notes, all 30+ pages of it. I may not understand all of it, but I have read it! Yay!

Next announcement: I have not and will not play DoTA until next LAN gaming with the guys, ok? That's like after block test 2, I think. Whoa, a lot of you all so worried. Do not worry no more, I was just exaggerating the fact that I played DoTA for the first time.

Just a few announcements:

Guitar Concert on May 4. It's a Thursday. Don't ask why such a weird day. Ah, I'll just say anyway. It's because the Friday (May 5) is parents meet the teachers session and the Saturday (May 6) is Band Dunno What Concert (I think fund-raising). The timing is quite screwed up lah so please if you are a JC2 student who does not care about your studies, please come down and support us. You're support will be greatly appreciated.

Second announcement, 05A12 now has their very own class blog! Yes, it took us approximately 1 year to get this thing together and we have approximately 9 months left to use it, but wait, we can still use it even after we leave the college for further studies (or further service). The blog is at http://05a12.blogspot.com; easy to remember.

Third announcement, this is something very simple: There is no third announcement!

Temporary

I wanted to change my layout and I have something else in the works. This one's just a temporary one. I was getting sick of the previous one.

A Change of Opinion

I used to think it was pointless. I did not understand why so big a deal was put over it. It was all seemed pointless and repetitive; back and forth, back and forth, back and forth and back and forth some more.

But after trying it out for myself, I have realized and yet I could not explain it - I am hooked. Well, not really but, I have gained a new appreciation of it.

I guess it was fun when everyone else tries it with you for the first time. Maybe it was the fun of sharing a new experience with everyone else that made it great.

In any case, I cannot wait for the next LAN gaming session and play DoTA again with the guys!

Yes, it's that time again.

Exams period are almost over.

Over tomorrow at exactly 9.30am.

Been thinking up of this "project" these past few days.

Now all I need is time and a means to make it happen.

Hmz... 7.20am is a good time to go drink water from the drinking fountain.

Or is it called a water station here?

I would not really know, I mean it is not exactly clear cut to say that track pants are jogging pants.

What is the deal with lifts anyway? It is called a lift and not an elevator. If things were called like that then we should call water "drink".

Eyes should be called "reads".

Anyway, I saw a father hitting another father.

Access Denied

I've been hearing a lot of talk about setting up medical check-ups and stuff, but I have not received any snail mail notification.

I figured they might have sent it to the other place since I took my own sweet time before deciding to update my IC at any nearby police station.

I decided to check online through the official NS website. MIW something dot com. Upon reaching the site, I realized that I had forgotten my username and password.

I remember my mom telling me to change the username and password immediately when I first got the letter a hundred million years ago. The username was my IC number and the password was some randomly generated one.

I had to change the password asap because the randomly generated one was too absurd to keep. After changing the password to something that I would remember, I had to put a security question in case I forgot my password and needed to retrieve it.

I wanted it to be rather vague so I just put the question as: game. Well, it's not really a question but it was obviously a question on what my favourite game was at the time.

Now, back to the future, I tried in vain to remember my username. I tried all the usernames that I use for lots of other things but nothing registered.

I was blessed enough to try John87 as the username and was happy to finally get a chance to click the "forgot password" option.

The option simply asked me to put my username in and I had expected to receive the password in my email account. However, the security question appeared.

I forgot my answer. Believe me, I tried all the games I used to play and I must have a played a lot because none of them were correct. Perhaps the question is not even referring to a game per se, but something else...
