ASLC

So much for plans of having more free time... Haiz...

To my utter disappointment, I am posted to go for Advanced Section Leader Course. Hooray...

I don't know how tough it's going to be. So far I've only heard what other people say but I haven't experienced it for myself.

I hope it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

The plus side of it all is the end result. In two months time, I'll be getting my three chevron stripes. I hope to get posted back into Pulau Tekong as an instructor.

I will get a chance for revenge to inspire the recruits and hopefully I can tell them, "I survived all this s*it - why can't you?"

Future recruits, prepare to knock it down.

A night out with the class, a night out with BMT section mates, or a night out watching the second ever Saint Andrew's Guitar Ensemble Concert?

I can't seem to decide.

Nevermind, let BSLC decide.

BSLC: Don't worry, stay here and clean your rifle for 4 hours. You won't have time for anything else.

JG: Thanks so much, BSLC, for solving my problems.

Few more days to go.

I want something new. Infantry bores me.

It feels so good to get out of the rat race. After all, the winner will only be the top rat.

I shall start declaring that I am an 8 to 5 soldier!

Combat pay but not in combat!

More free time (in 4 weeks) here I come!
