Hanging Out

"Where Oinky is going later..."

"Barber!" answered Oinky.

"No fair! Of course you would know that."

The noisy game of Taboo continued. Everyone in the room shouted their answers as Des gave out clues to the words that were supposed to be guessed.

To JG's surprise, Bok was pulling away from everyone with a total of 8 points. Oinky wasn't going down without a fight. He managed to tie the score and it was down to the last card...

"Unbelievable!" JG thought as Bok gave the correct answer. No one would have believed that during the early stages of the game Bok was among the rest with a score of 2 to 5 points.

The funny wrong answers that we gave, guys, they're priceless. Thanks for the laughs...

A few minutes later the doorbell rang. JG wiped away the tears from his eyes as he walked towards the door - he was tearing from laughing too much.

JG looked through the peep whole and saw darkness...

"Very funny," he thought. He immediately knew who it was.

Soon the battle between the schools began; for Bukit Batok Secondary, it was Des, DeSmoke, Guan, and Oinky. Playing for Swiss Cottage Secondary was Bok, Ding, JG, and Sam.

It was a fierce battle of words as both teams fought it out. During the early stages of the game, JG had a mental block and was passing up the easy words. What sealed the victory (in my opinion) was Guan's clever description of the words during her turn. She was able to correctly describe five (I don't remember, is it more than that?) words.

It was soon time for dinner. A wonderful feast of dragon meat (luncheon meat), chili tuna, and vegetables was spread before the group. After a quick prayer by DeSmoke, the group enjoyed a hearty dinner together.

I really enjoy our dinners together =)

After everyone had left, Des and JG decided to walk around the compound. They ended up talking at the bench.

"I wonder how things will be like when we all grow up," said Des.

JG answered in silence. He too began to think about it. He tried to think about it, but it was too hard to imagine. All he could do was give a smile.

"I can't believe I'm turning 18 this year," said JG.

"I'm soon going to be 20!" said Des.

After a while of talking. They decided to go back up. As they walked towards the lift, the both of them were filled with excitement for their trip to the Philippines the following day.

"I don't know what to expect," said Des.

"Me too, dude, me too..."

As JG sat in front of his computer, he looked back at the days events.

"It was just like old times. I really had fun. =)"

-JG-

I'm going to miss you all!
