The driver kept telling funny stories of incidents that he came across or his friends came across.
He said that during the 7th Month (time of the ghost festival, i think) he picked up this couple, an old man and a young woman and they wanted to go Yishun. He agreed to pick them up even though it was quite late in the night as he stayed in Yishun and was planning to knock off anyway but when they reached the destination at Yishun, only the woman alighted and the old man said that he wanted to go Lim Chu Kang and he said that he felt quite happy because form Yishun to Lim Chu Kang plus midnight rates it would mean that he would earn a lot so he did not mind going all the way there.
When he reached the area he noticed that he was passing through the cemetery and he felt a little scared. He began to wonder where the old man could be going since he was too old to be from the Army Camp and as far as the driver knows, there are no residential areas in that place. He wanted to check again with the old man but when he looked through his rearview mirror... THE OLD MAN WAS NOT THERE!!!
He felt scared but when he took a look for himself he found that the old man was at the corner sleeping. Haha. In the end the old man actually stayed in one of the farms in that area.
He also talked about some dude that wanted to go Sembawang and upon reaching, the dude told the driver to go straight. Every time the driver asked him where to go the dude just told him to go straight and he went straight until they reached the end of the road and any further straight is the sea.
The driver told the dude, "Friend, this is a dead end. Where do you want to go?"
Dude: Just go straight. (he's actually drunk so imagine a half-awake dude talking)
Driver: Go straight is the sea already.
Dude: Just go straight.
Driver: Cannot go straight already.
Dude: You got problem izzit? Just go straight.
Driver: I got big problem because in front is water.
They ended up going straight to the police station. The police told the driver that this particular dude has been sent to the station a few times before by taxi drivers because he always ends up dumb drunk.
Ah, gosh. There were many more funny stories that he shared and I laughed until my cheeks hurt. Man, I wish there are many more taxi drivers as fun as that uncle.

Totally GLEEK-ED out. Been listening to the songs nonstop. The remaining 9 episodes for season 1 will not be out until sometime in May!
Somehow it feels like the same feeling before the first day of the first semester... Excited!!!
