140 Days of Summer

or "How I Spent My Summer" or "You Know What I Did Last Summer?"

The past summer holiday has really been an eventful one. There are so many things that have happened; so many events and so many memorable moments. I thought that I would want to write about it all but I'm suddenly struck with a lack of inspiration (lack of determination, actually). I'll probably get around to it within the next few weeks...

To be perfectly honest, I just thought it would be fun to think of an interesting title to a post marking the end of my first ever summer break from university. I purposely aimed to make indirect allusions to movies and television with those titles. (I wonder if anyone would be able to point them all out...)

Thanks to the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held at my school for extending our summer holidays, at the expense of a shorter Christmas break.

I'm not complaining since I have decided to create my own "holiday" by aiming for a 4-day weekend for the next semester. So far I only have lessons on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so even though the holidays are shortened, the free days should balance that off.

Anyway, that's all for now. This should be a good enough warm up to make up for the months of inactivity. Time to squeeze these mind-grapes and get the creative juices flowing again.

Here's a nice song from the movie "Letters to God". (Embedding disabled by request...) >_<
