Yesterday I finally cleared my last duty EVER! At first I was worried because I was doing the duty with non-commisioned officers who are usually more strict.
Before the duty I kept thinking how bad it might be until I realised that favour is a person. During my other duties I was so happy because somehow I found favour with the officers but the favour was not dependant on whether I was with an officer or non-commisioned officer. The favour come because favour personified is with me.
There are some officers who can be just as strict as non-commisioned officers so it was not a matter of who I was physically doing the duty with but because of Jesus with me, the favour follows. It does not matter whether the person I am doing duty with is the most strict in the whole island, I would still be favoured because Jesus is my favour.
As it turned out I had a peaceful last duty. Favour is not dependent on my environment and all that is around me but it is dependent on who is with me.
I also had my last SAF meal:
Pineapple rice, duck in black sauce, some kind of mini fish cake thing, tom-yam soup, red bean ice cream and soya milk.
I remember my first ever SAF meal on enlistment day:
Rice, fried chicken, french fries, mashed potatoes, cream of mushroom soup and some syrup drink. (I think.)
Also had my final "working" day today. Duty rest until 10am, took a cold shower then lounged around in the office before going for lunch. Made sure my tasks are covered by my colleagues and then used up my last half day off.
